Finally! I've been waiting to post this shot for a while now - Gold and black chainmail bikini top/bottom modeled by my lovely and gorgeous friend Reyn :iconmilady-arreyn:. See that little watermark in the bottom right? That's how you know my shit is legit. Too legit, in fact, to quit.

There should be more of these coming soon, as I get them - This photo is probably 2 years old (maybe a little more?) but I've finally got permission to post them and share them with the world!

EDIT: HOLY SHIT A dd!! You guys are fucking awesome. Thanks to :iconkubusrubus:!!!

I'd be remiss and a terrible small business owner if I didn't put an obligatory link to my shop. If you like what you see, support a starving artist: www.utopiaarmoury.etsy.com

Edit #2: I've gotten a lot of "I bet that will pinch" or "I hope it's lined" or "I might sink/rust" comments, so here we go:

Cold, yes, but it warms up in just a few minutes.

As far as pinching? A lot of chainmail pinches, for a few reasons - Mostly that the rings aren't closed precisely or are poorly made. Remember not all chainmail is of the same quality - It is a handmade material, unlike cloth - Anyone who says chainmail pinches or is uncomfortable has only worn poorly made or poorly fitted chainmail.

My chainmail doesn't pinch at all. I've never had a customer or even someone who tried one on and didn't purchase complain about pinching, chafing, or comfort - Even those with nipple rings. Not to toot my own horn but the quality of my work is second to none, and I make sure each and every single ring (close to 10,000 per piece) is closed absolutely perfectly.

Nothing in my tops are made from any material that will rust or otherwise corrode in any way - they are completely swim-safe and swim-friendly, waterproof, and lightweight, and generally more supportive than a normal bikini top.

I'm going to scan the comments down below but probably won't respond to all of them - Needless to say, thanks to all of those who gave praise and/or honest criticism. As they say, though - haters gonna hate - but I'm going to leave everyone's comments visible so the world can see just how nasty some people can be.

Reyn in Gold by *Utopia-Armoury who makes the best looking chainmaille bikinis that I've seen so far. Great piece as well as presentation. ( Featured by `KubusRubus )

It always fascinates me that people think maille is cold and it pinches. It's no more cold than anything else going on and the metal warms up to skin temp nicely. Not to mention the quality has to be terrible is it's pinching them. :/ Great job. I've always wanted to make a maille bikini but I for the life of me can't figure out how to make one for my size. Oh well. :)
