Hematite is said to be a good healing and grounding stone; it strengthens the body and improve resistance to life's stresses. Hematite inspire inner life and helps to keep inward peace.

The Ankh is an ancient Egyptian hieroglyph, meaning, among other things, life.

The two come together in this 17" necklace, completely handmade from gunmetal anodized aluminum. The necklace is woven in European 4 in 1, accented with 6mm hematite beads and an ankh charm, and clasps with a simple hook clasp in the back, which makes it adjustable.

Really nice. Would be even cooler with brighter or coloured rings to increase the contrast from the ankh and the hematites.

Thanks so much! I've done necklaces in all sorts of color combinations - Rich purples mixed with royal blues, peacock shades, and even rainbows! I love using color, but for this piece I decided on a dark, gothy feel.
